Violet Lane Playground Partnership
Class eleven left their comments about the childrens work
Learning how to use a metre wheel
Using maths to mesure the playground
Some children drew the playground as it is now
We recorded our measurements
We asked our friends what they would wish for our playground, we used a tally to record our answers
From the tally chart we plotted a graph to find our most wished for activity
Getting our questions ready to ask our Nursery children
Making a draft questionnaire
We handled the data gathered from our answers
We typed them out using 'word'
I would like a trampoline!
Lots of children wished for a climbing frame
A climbing wall
Some of us created collages
A slide
We made models of the childrens choices form all our research

Our playground paintings
Our year 1 children painted pictures of some of the activities they would like in our playground.
We had lots of ideas from trampolines to swimming pools!
